I haven't really updated in a while...my art, I mean.

I feel kind of listless when it comes to that, empty...I mean, all I really drew was fandom art, and now that fandom is over.
But its not that, so much as the fact that I'm tired of constantly having to take my sketchbook and colours out of a pre-packed backpack or a cardboard box. I'm tired of living my life out of boxes, with the constant fear of being kicked out of my house again.
Something like that really kills the muse, as you might know.

I'm not sure why I'm writing this, I just have to get it off my chest I guess.

Lately I haven't been sleeping well, and I've noticed that the earlier in the day it is (by early I'm meaning the middle of the night to early dawn) easier to draw, my lines come out smoother and I can better capture the images in my head.
It's sort of weird, but I've always done things better when I've not slept.

I've gotten back into Harry Potter a bit, but I don't want to do fandom art right now, I feel I have enough of it in my gallery, so I've started drawing out random memories, snippets of my life...it's rather soothing. I might upload some of those when I come across a scanner.
